The RPTU researcher Dr. Tina Kostka will receive up to 1.8 million euros from the Emmy Noether Program of the German Research Foundation (DFG) to set up a junior research group in the Department of Chemistry. There, she wants to use her research into the underlying mechanisms of the toxicity of processed red meat to investigate the possible connection to the development of colon cancer.
